Who We Are

HyperFokus is an ADHD productivity app developed and operated by HyperPlanners, based in Morocco.

The Short Version

We collect only what we need to run the app. We do not sell your data. We do not show you ads. Your productivity data stays private.

1. What We Collect

  • Account info: Email address and display name
  • App data: Tasks, routines, habits, streaks, XP, self-care logs, and settings you create
  • Kip AI chats: Messages processed in real-time via Anthropic API, not stored permanently on our servers
  • Device info: Device type and app version for bug fixes only

2. How We Use It

  • To run the app and sync your data across devices
  • To power Kip AI responses via Anthropic Claude API
  • To process Pro subscription payments via Gumroad
  • To fix bugs and improve the app

We never sell your data. We never use your data for advertising.

3. Kip AI Conversations

Conversations with Kip are powered by Anthropic Claude AI. Messages are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored on our servers. Kip conversation history is kept locally on your device only. Subject to Anthropic Privacy Policy.

4. Payments

Pro upgrades are processed by Gumroad on our secure store at hyperplanners.gumroad.com. We do not store payment card details. HyperFokus is free on Google Play. All Pro purchases are made through our Gumroad store, not through any app store. Subject to Gumroad Privacy Policy.

5. Third-Party Services

  • Google Firebase — Authentication and database
  • Anthropic Claude API — Kip AI conversations
  • Gumroad — Payment processing
  • Vercel — App hosting and serverless functions

6. Data Storage and Security

  • Data stored on Google Firebase servers in the United States
  • All data encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest
  • Firebase Security Rules ensure each user can only access their own data
  • API keys stored server-side only, never exposed to the browser

7. Data Retention

  • Account data retained while your account is active
  • Kip conversation history stored locally on your device only
  • Account deletion removes all personal data within 30 days
  • Payment records retained up to 7 years for legal compliance

Delete your account: More > Settings > Privacy & Account > Delete Account

8. Your Rights

  • Access: Request a copy of your data
  • Correction: Update name and email in Profile settings
  • Deletion: Delete account from app settings (30 days)
  • Export: More > Settings > Privacy & Account > Export Data
  • GDPR users: Right to lodge complaint with local data protection authority
  • CCPA users: Right to know and delete. We do not sell personal information.

9. Children

HyperFokus is for users aged 13 and older. Contact support@hyperplanners.com immediately if you believe a child under 13 has registered.

10. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco.

11. Changes

We update this policy as needed. Significant changes announced by email or in-app notification 14 days in advance.
